Weltmann

Licensed Canadian Warmblood

2010 Studfee: $1000 canadian ($300 booking included)

Weltmann is a 2005, 17.1HH stallion by the phenomenal stallion Weltmeyer and out of our Hanoverian mare Waltana.
He is full brother to our incredible dressage mare Weltana that can be seen on the mares page.
Weltmann is very much like his sire in movement, with very powerful uphill gaits and loads of hock action. He is a very large boned horse but still has elegance about him. Weltmann like his sire can also jump extremely well and has chute jumped over 4' with great form and little effort. Going higher would not be a problem!
He is a true Weltmeyer son and we are very happy to have him as a breeding stallion.

Weltmeyer was a sensation the day he was born, according to his breeder, Hermann Meyer (the ‘meyer’ in Weltmeyer) and he proved Mr Meyer right when he was champion of his licensing in Verden. At the Bundeschampionate, Weltmeyer continued his triumphal progress. The judging committee gave him the top score of 10 for his trot. His canter stride was a leap forward flowing through the entire body of the horse. It earned a 9.5. The walk was ground-covering and earned an 8.0. In addition he received a 9.5 for conformation and for his overall impression." Weltmeyer went on the win his performance test at Adelheidsdorf with a dressage score of 143.94 - more surprisingly he had a jumping score of 141.44. Weltmeyer was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year Weltmeyer also won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. In 1988 he was honored in Verden as best stallion of his age-group and awarded with the "Freiherr von Stenglin-Prize". One year later he became DLG Champion 1989 in Frankfurt. And last but not least he became "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" in 1998. As of today, Weltmeyer has produced 70 licensed sons, all of them are excellent stallions.
